As we offer bunks resp. cabins as well as bareboat charter, we had to cover both aspects. So when you book a tour as a person, then the p.P. price is due. If you, on the other hand book the entire yacht, then the 4 digit price is valid as a whole.

Gute Frage, weil:

First of all we recommend you to select “ALL” under bookings, or – from the start page – use the search box without criteria. In both cases the bookable trips are shown, each a little different in its presentation.

Alternatively, as of today (25.1.16) we offer a calendar version which chronologically display all trip. Each trip may be selected and then you are taken directly to the details thereof.

We are expanding this function for those wishing to join us, so they may enter and edit their tours.

It depends. Is the booking with a skipper, then you can be assured he has the required licenses. Do you wish to book without a skipper (i.e. bareboat charter), then at least one crew member shall show his valid license such as the Yachtmaster or equivalent. Is such a license not available, the charter contract will only be valid with a qualified skipper on board. We can assist in organizing a skipper. The earlier you let us know, the better the chance to have one available though.

In that case though we may ask for an additional cleaning fee at the end of the tour, dependent on the race and size of the dog. Amount between €50,- and €100,- (maximum) for the week/charter.

Should you be part of our crew on a trip, we hope you understand that we will ask the other crew members first. Apart from that the same additional cleaning fee applies.

Yes, the on board cash is additional and divided (split up) by the crew. These costs cover the fuel, meals and drinks whilst underway with the yacht.

We understand that you may not have a printer handy when you’re traveling so it is not necessary to have a printed copy. However, we require that you show ID matching your reservation and also the Order # that is immediately emailed to you after you make your reservation.

According to european regulations, all bookings may be cancelled within 14 days of the booking date. Thereafter we accept cancellations depending on the amount of bookings made and the period of time (up to 6 weeks prior the booked tour). Within 6 weeks of the tour a cancellation fee of 50% applies, within 14 days thereof there will be no refund for the day tour.

That is a real pity, you will be missing a great time with us. But sometimes these things cannot be avoided.

Yes, providing there is still a cabin available. In this case we request an additional 50% added to the price for a single. Please contact us via eMail or phone stating the request and we will do our best to arrange it.

After having paid the downpayment of 25% the full payment should be finalized within 6 weeks prior to the booking.

Please understand that we have to plan with our overheads, so up to 4 weeks prior the booked date we assess a 50% termination fee. will be given. There are no refunds for cancellations within 7 days of your tour, or if you decide not to show up.

We recommend you take additional insurance for this trip!

Yes. Reservations are required for guaranteed spots on all trips. Reservations help us determine the number of yachts and/or skipper we need to ensure that our sailing trip remains manageable and enjoyable, and they allow us to notify you of changes to the trip due to weather or anything that could disturb this.

Mostly yes. An exception to the rule is the Weekend deal. If the Charter company books one of our yachts on a weekly basis, then this takes priority. Alternatives will be offered.

However (it’s always the same  😎 ), we do prefer weekly bookings. So please get in touch with us via eMail, so we may determine that likelihood. We will do our utmost to find a suitable booking period or weekend for you. Pricing depends on the time of year and will be made available after your specific request.

Wind is what’s needed to sail, isn’t it? So we shall sail. But if a storm is predicted we stay in the safety of the marina. If it’s quite windy (not storm), then the entire Crew (yes, all crew members collectively) decide on the course of action. Same applies of course to high waves out there (a little more likely on the North sea as opposed to the Baltic sea for example.

Wear whatever is comfortable. Most, if not all skippers appreciate white soled shoes or waterproof boots (depending on the weather) or sneakers. It is preferable to dress in layers and wear clothing that will wick away perspiration and keep you dry and comfortable

Not much, remember our trips are mostly inclusive. Whenever something is not included, it will be said (airfare for example)! We do suggest you bring appropriate clothing to fit the season and the possible change in weather. We hope you will need your sun protection!

We can organize sheets and blankets for a small fee, but recommend strongly you take your own sleeping bag and pillow.

Kleidung

Kleidung haben wir zwar schon angesprochen, aber hier aufgelistet ist eine etwas vollständigere Liste:

• Segeljacke und Hose
• Windjacke (wenn nicht durch “Segeljacke” ersetzt)
• Gute Segelschuhe, auf jedem Fall “Abriebfest”, vorzugsweise mit hellen Sohlen.
• Sonnenbrille
• Kopfbedeckung (Mütze falls kälter, “Cappie” falls wärmer)
• Unterkleidung für kälteres Wetter
• Dünne Oberkleidung (auch kurze Hosen) für wärmeres Wetter
• Sonnencreme (NICHT -Öl)
• Fleecejacke
• Schuhe für Landgänge
• Badeklamotten (zur passenden Jahreszeit natürlich)
• Segelhandschuhe, falls vorhanden
• Sandalen o.ä. für die Dusche

After consultation with your skipper you should obtain the following items prior to the tour:

Basics

• Tee, coffee, evtl. Nespresso (or similar) capsules (Nespresso Machine on board of 2 yachts)
• Coffee filter Nr. 4
• Sugar (in cubes)
• coffee milk or cream
• milk (homogenized and pasteurized)
• Salt, Pepper, evtl. herbs and spices
• Jam/Honey
• Sausages which may be heated up (“emergency ration”)
• Canned fruit
• Müsli- and/or chocolate bars
• bits and bites for in between, Knäckebrot also als emergency ration
• Water still and sparkling, mixed. ONLY SMALL BOTTLES (*)
• Other drinks, i.e. Beer, Wine, Orange juice and the like.

Fresh food (for the first 2-3 days, shopping is always possible somewhere)

We presently have the following vessels in our fleet

This depends on the size and number of available cabins. For example: the yacht (i.e. Sea Change) has 5 cabins = 5 x 2 persons *. Minimum crew therefore 5. Below that a cancellation may be imposed. This number may be increased by – for example – a couple taking a double cabin.

For the booking of a full cabin as a single person, refer to single booking.

* Although the saloon is usually convertible with 2 further bunks, this option is only used in exceptional cases, i.e. schooling and exam sailing.
